Introduction Primary delusional infestation is a rare psychiatric condition in which patients mistakenly believe that their skin or other body parts are infested by small, living organisms, despite the fact no organisms can be found upon investigation. The delusion occurs concurrently with abnormal cutaneous sensations. Therefore, they typically have history of prior negative evaluations dermatologists and general practice physicians. In addition, may also received repeated courses dermatologic anti-infective therapies, lack an objective diagnosis. Objectives To describe clinical case patient who suffered from undiagnosed primary for 12 years. Methods Description non-systematic review literature. Results We 65-year-old woman spent years being evaluated multiple medical surgical specialties following complaint: “sensation something moving beneath skin.” At onset complaint, believed this “strange sensation” was due to recent tooth procedure.
